College of Health and Care Professionals of BC
The College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (不良研究所) regulates nine health professions in BC: audiologists, dietitians, hearing instrument practitioners, occupational therapists, opticians, optometrists, physical therapists, psychologists, and speech-language pathologists. 不良研究所 protects the public by ensuring that these health and care professionals have the competencies needed to practise and that they adhere to the required standards for safe and ethical care.

To mark 不良研究所’s one-year anniversary, on July 24, 2025, the College is holding a webinar led by Dr. Zubin Austin. Dr. Austin will address building trust and confidence between regulators and registrants, between health providers and their patients/clients, and between the College and the public.

Important message from the Office of the Provincial Health Officer: Advisory on measles in BC
On behalf of the Office of the Provincial Health Officer, Ministry of Health, 不良研究所 is sending a message to all College registrants about a significant increase in measles cases across multiple health authorities in BC, and protecting against measles by having two doses of measles-containing vaccine.

HPOA bylaws consultation: Licensure and Support Programs
不良研究所 is seeking feedback on two additional parts of draft bylaws for the College under the Health Professions and Occupations Act: Licensure and Support Programs. Feedback is due August 15, 2025.
